  • Dr. Alycia Klymkiw

    General Dentist

    Dr. Alycia Klymkiw joined the Fort Richmond Dental team in 2017. She has lived in Winnipeg all of her life and graduated with a BSc from the University of Manitoba in 2013, and a DMD from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry in 2017. Dr. Klymkiw believes in the philosophy of preventive and care-centred dentistry, and is very committed to the total health of the patient.

    Dr. Klymkiw graduated with top awards in her class for restorative dentistry, prosthodontics (crown and bridge), and clinical dentistry, also receiving other awards throughout her four years. As well, she travelled to Peru in 2017 with Kindness in Action for a dental mission, where she provided care to the under serviced population of Lima, Peru. She is a member of the Manitoba Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, and the Winnipeg General Practice Study Club.

    What Dr. Klymkiw likes most about dentistry is forming lasting relationships with patients of all ages. Her passion is making her patients smile and feel comfortable in the dental chair.

    For Dr. Klymkiw, who is also Dr. Bassey’s daughter in law, family and friends are very important. Her past times include cooking, yoga, and playing with her puppy Frank.

  • Dr. Morgan Murray

    General Dentist

    Dr. Murray was born and raised in Winnipeg. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree, and then went on to obtain a Masters degree in Human Nutritional Sciences at the University of Manitoba. She began to realize the connection between nutrition and oral health, which lead her to the field of dentistry.

    Dr. Murray graduated from the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry and received the University of Manitoba Gold Medal award in Dentistry, along with numerous other academic accolades.

    In 2019 she traveled to Peru with Kindness in Action, a charity group that provides dental services for those in need, and continues to be involved in various outreach programs and in the dental community.

    Dr. Murray practices all aspects of general dentistry and is particularly passionate about children’s dentistry, oral surgery and crown and bridge. She strives to make patients feel comfortable in the chair and involved in their oral health care.

    When not at work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, being at the lake, and spending time with her family!

  • Dr. Alisha Lee

    General Dentist

    Dr. Alisha Lee was born and raised in Winnipeg and has lived in Richmond West for almost 30 years! She is excited for the opportunity to serve the community she has always been a part of.

    Following graduation from Fort Richmond Collegiate, she completed Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees at the University of Manitoba. She remains an active member of the Manitoba Dental Association, the Winnipeg General Practice Study Club and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

    Dr. Lee relies on her varied experience, honed in practice in both Alberta and Manitoba. This experience has provided a unique skillset to best serve her patients. She values collaboration when making treatment decisions, so that each patient’s values and expectations are heard and incorporated.

    Dr. Lee has a passion for travelling, with cherished experiences hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro, trekking through the Sahara Dessert, and experiencing the different cultures and food of the world.

    Dr. Lee is committed to lifelong learning to remain on the cutting edge of the always revolving field of dentistry.

  • Dr. Jack Bassey

    General Dentist

    Dr Jack Bassey has lived in Winnipeg his entire life. He received a BSc from the University of Winnipeg and graduated with a DMD from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba in 1985. He opened Fort Richmond Dental Centre upon graduation and has spent his career devoting himself to his patient’s oral health and well being.

    Dr. Bassey has competed advanced education in esthetic dentistry at the University of Minnesota. He also has engaged in consistent continuing education in crown and bridge and restorative techniques over his career to ensure he is using the most current materials and methods available. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Manitoba Dental Association, and the Winnipeg chapter of the Seattle Study Club.

    He married his wife Kim in 1989, and has a son Jeff and daughter Heather. He loves to spend time with his family and is an avid golfer.

  • Dr. Joan MacLennan

    General Dentist

    Dr. Joan MacLennan was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She did her undergraduate studies at University of Regina where she received a variety of scholastic awards. Dr. MacLennan went on to graduate with honours from the University of Saskatchewan Dental College in 1992. She continues to expand her knowledge and skills with various continuing education courses. The most recent course being a mini endodontic residency (root canal treatment) in San Francisco.

    In 1993, Dr. MacLennan and her husband moved to Winnipeg where they have raised their 2 sons, Mathew and Jacob. At a young age, Dr. MacLennan knew she wanted to be a dentist. She feels blessed to be a part of a profession that she feels passionately about. Dr. MacLennan has served on committees with the Manitoba Dental Association and has mentored dental students at the University of Manitoba.

    Dr. MacLennan has been providing quality dental care to her patients for over 27 years. Her experience and knowledge of the latest dental techniques coupled with a gentle touch and commitment to excellence, will leave you informed and smiling.

We stay open late on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and are open every other Saturday for your convenience.
